 2015                                   Secured First Honorable Mention Award in student Idea competition ‘Designing Urban

Oasis’ arranged by IAB, IEB, BUET, BUP

2014                                    Secured 1st Position in International Essay competition- Berkeley Prize 2014, under

Department of Architecture at University of California, College of Environmental Design. A

2500 word Essay titled “Livability Vs Lovability” has been published in Berkeley Prize

Website and Publication.

2014                                    Secured Third Position in the Student Idea Competition STHANIK arranged by Vitti

Sthapati Brindo ltd on the event of POUNOPUNIK

2012                                    Shortlisted for the exhibition in “Dwelling Unit: 2062” competition during ’50 years of

Architectural Education in Bangladesh’ jointly organized by BUET and IAB (Institute of

Architects Bangladesh)


Experience in Research Works:

  1. Attended a month long experimental studio & advanced discourse at Bengal Institute of Architecture, Landscape & Settlement on the theme “Architecture & the City” with notable studio mentors Ar. Andra Matin, Marina Tabassum, Michael Sorkin, Kazi Khaleed Ashraf & Ehsan Khan.
  2. Worked as research assistant with Ar. Fahmid Ahmed ( assistant professor, DoA BUET-on leave ) for his PhD on “Water Urbanism” at School of Architecture & Built Environment, The University of Adelaide.
  3. Worked as a volunteer with Matluba Khan (Lecturer DoA, BUET- on leave) for her PhD on ‘Outdoor Learning Environment for Children’. The volunteer work involved design-build outdoor works at Tulatoli Primary School, Narsindi.

Author of a Paper titled Home within Slum: An Architectural Analysis of Domestic and Community Living in Ershadnagar Resettlement Camp presented in Bangladesh Planning Research Conference in 5-6 February, 2016

different events concerning the department of architecture and welfare of the students.
