Webinar on “Higher Studies for Water Resources Engineers” Held by EWCE Department

The Department of Environmental, Water Resources and Coastal Engineering (EWCE), Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), is pleased to announce the organization of a webinar titled “Higher Studies for Water Resources Engineers” as part of its academic and professional development initiatives.

The webinar will be delivered by Md Rownak Islam (EWCE-01), Graduate Research Assistant (PhD Student), Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Florida International University (FIU), USA. Drawing from his international academic and research experience, the resource person will share valuable insights on higher study opportunities, application procedures, research prospects, and career pathways for students and young professionals in water resources and related disciplines.

The event will be graced by Brigadier General G. M. Faruque, Head, Department of EWCE, MIST, as the Chief Guest. The session aims to guide EWCE students and alumni who aspire to pursue higher education and research in reputed universities abroad.

The webinar will be held online via Zoom on Tuesday, 20 January 2026, at 07:00 PM (Bangladesh Time). Faculty members, students, alumni, and all interested participants are cordially invited to join the session.
