ENVIRONMENTAL, WATER RESOURCES AND COASTAL ENGINEER'S ALUMNI ASSOCIATION OF MIST (EWCEAAM)
The Department of Environmental, Water Resources, and Coastal Engineering (EWCE) takes pride in its accomplished graduates who make meaningful contributions both nationally and internationally across various fields.
To further strengthen our curriculum and gain wider recognition, we are in the process of obtaining accreditation from the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) and the Board of Accreditation for Engineering and Technical Education (BAETE). Establishing a strong and active Alumni Association is a crucial part of this journey.
Environmental, Water Resources and Coastal Engineer's Alumni Association, MIST (EWCEAAM), aspires to be a pioneering platform for social engineers in Bangladesh. All EWCE graduates are valued members of this association.
Their active involvement and valuable feedback will play a vital role in the department's continuous development. We deeply value their support and cooperation in this meaningful initiative.
The knowledge and experience of our alumni are instrumental in our pursuit of accreditation and curriculum enhancement, enabling us to contribute more effectively to national progress.
In the previous year, this department organized an Alumni Meet on 9th November, 2024.
This year Department of Environmental, Water Resources, and Coastal Engineering (EWCE), MIST, is proud to organize the EWCE Alumni Meet 2025 on 12th July at 0530 hrs, a special gathering to reconnect, celebrate achievements, and strengthen the bond between the department and its alumni.
This event marks a significant step in fostering a vibrant and engaged alumni community, supporting the ongoing growth and excellence of the department. Through this platform, graduates from different batches, both from Bangladesh and abroad, will reunite to share their professional experiences, provide valuable insights, and contribute to the future direction of the department.
One of the key highlights of this meet is the discussion on the formation and activities of the EWCE Alumni Association, MIST (EWCEAAM), which aims to be a dynamic forum for collaboration, mentorship, and professional networking. The alumni’s feedback and participation will be instrumental in our journey towards obtaining accreditation from prestigious bodies like the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) and the Board of Accreditation for Engineering and Technical Education (BAETE).
The Alumni Meet will also serve as a platform to discuss future collaborations, departmental development plans, and ways to enrich the curriculum to meet global standards.
We warmly welcome all our respected alumni to this meaningful occasion, as your continued engagement and guidance will shape the future of EWCE and inspire the next generation of environmental leaders.
